AIuto: Unlocking your minds And Locking your Timeline
It is a common practice to miss out on things because you just weren’t able to manage your time or it just flew out of your mind while you were busy with different tasks. We as college students also happen to miss a few deadlines or go over the allotted time because of it. That’s why we with our project AIuto are trying to lower the chances of this happening (among other things).
Who are we?
We are a group of 5 sophomores from Bennett University who got an opportunity to make a project as a full fledged subject for 2 credits for our odd semester leading us to come up with the idea of AIuto after rejecting a couple of other ideas.
What is AIuto?
AIuto is a platform that we aim to make all inclusive. As a result it is available for web, iOS and android. AIuto has multiple features, but its main objective is to make sure you get your work done when you want to. You can schedule your tasks for the future, put the recurring tasks on repeat with the duration you want whether it be daily, weekly or monthly. The journal brings your daily schedule to you on a daily basis, add a task whenever you want to it’s just one tap away.
Good mental health for a person is just as important as physical health and we all know that a good mental state means more productivity that is a much better and efficient use of your time. AIuto provides a feature of accountability groups to keep in touch with people who have the same dreams and ambitions as you do, or with people from the same walk of life as you to keep your motivation high and keep the grind going. Working together with other people always results in us doing it better and faster. We have decided to leverage this to our advantage and our user’s benefit.
Mood Navigator is another one of our other features. It’s a diary for your emotions where you get to summarize your day using one of the six available emotions which include happy, angry, sad, ecstatic among others. You can keep a track of your emotions and we hope it helps you in understanding yourselves better and getting a better view for your future ahead. It will be shown on a calendar so that you can get a rough idea of what you were feeling over a, for example, a month.
We also have a feature called Therapist which asks you a bunch of questions and depending upon your answers will provide a recommendation on whether you are in need for a therapy session. We used a custom artificial intelligence model that we deployed to GCP for powering this.
What’s Next?
While we are not sure that we will continue this project even after this semester but if we will here is some of the idea about what more features we might add or improve upon
- A stats page which analyses and provides data of your time spent and what you spent your time on using various graphs and charts.
- Option to make your own set of emotions to represent you and your emotions with help of things like custom emojis.
- A beautiful and well detailed statistics page that will show graphs on the various parameters that are input by the user. For example a pie chart of the number of scheduled records completed v/s not completed etc.
- Full featured chat system with support for voice notes and call capabilities.
Conclusion
It has been a pleasure working on this project. Each one of us has learned new things and spent hours on trying to get to a solution and a few debates of how we should go about with this project. All just to make AIuto possible. We are glad to say it is successful, but of course, it’s far from perfect. There are a lot of things that we plan to work on and upgrade.
